What is the maximum number of children?

Food is included for a max of 12 children for 'All In' exclusive hire parties. You can of course have less, the hire charge would still apply however. The maximum total guests is 25 people including all grown ups and tiny babies.

Can the adults sit in the cafe during playtime?

All guests must stay in the play space during the first hour (as we will be busy getting everything ready for food time), and in the cafe space during the second hour. There is comfy seating in the play space for any older guests. Please note the playroom is up a flight of (rainbow) stairs.

What decorations are supplied as standard?

We use a range of colourful tablecloths on the children's party table, a bright felt 'Happy Birthday' banner, and our pastel tableware. If you'd like to add things like balloons, a different banner, or decorations on a particular theme then do bring these along either a couple of days ahead or just before the party start time.

What is the timeline for each party?

For each party the first hour is spent in our lovely mezzanine playroom. 5 mins towards the end we will come and give a transition warning to help guests know it's almost time to move down to the cafe for food. You'll then spend an hour here- kids will eat, adults can order from the counter, and we will sing, cut & serve the cake, give out any party bags and pack you and your guests off happy and full of birthday festivities- we do all the rest, clean up and all!

Do infants count in numbers?

Yes - all people no matter how small or big do count towards the maximum guest numbers listed above. If they are tiny however and therefore not eating, they don't count in the number of children, just in the total.

What's in the party bags if we order them?

We can order party bags to contain either general not-too-plasticky items, or things along a certain theme of your choice. Think colouring, bouncy ball, puzzles etc, all packaged in a colourful paper bag with a sticker to seal.

Can we bring more adults?

We don't mind the ratio of children to adults as long as little ones are well supervised at all times. The total guest numbers are 25 for 'All In' parties', so as long as that number includes all children, adults and babies then you can invite whomever you'd like, big or small!

When can we arrive?

You are welcome to arrive 10minutes before your party start time for exclusive hire parties. You can at this point give us any decs you'd like popped up, cake, party bags and anything else. If you prefer you can pop these in the day before but please bear in mind we are very limited on storage space. The playroom will be tidied and ready for fun times by your party start time.

Can you cater for allergies and/or dietary restrictions?

Absolutely! We will message you ahead of the party to confirm numbers and whether any guests have any dietary requirements we need to be aware of. We can cater for most needs, and whilst we have a small busy kitchen so cannot 100% guarantee allergy safety, we are extremely careful and do everything we can to not risk any contamination.
